- What is your favorite ice cream* flavor?
Ice cream? I dunno, I’d rather have a sorbet. Something raspberry or currant.
- What kind of music do you like to listen to?
There’s nothing in particular I like, especially not Arsh’s oud. I guess I prefer silence when it comes down to it. Or the conversation and laughter of my family.
- Which is better, being the boss or an employee?
I wouldn’t know. I’ve only ever been my own boss. Oh sure, people hire me, but in the end it’s my decision if I take on the jobs or not. And if things get bad you won’t see me sticking around to honor some faro-loving fool’s wishes.
- What would motivate you to run a marathon*?
Being chased…I tend to move as quietly and quickly as possible when I’m–ah, working. So on the rare occasions I’m not running ’round I’d like to be home. But that’s rarer and rarer these days.
- What are some things you shouldn’t say at work?
Anything. Really, when I’m working even a cough could mean death. That’s probably why I prefer silence in the end.
- Would you rather be tall and fat or short and well built?
So long as I get my work done I don’t give a dross. But in my line of work being fit is a benefit…and I suppose being smaller would make things easier. Still you’d want to be able to put up a good fight if you have to, and I mean only if you have to. Otherwise give me fast legs and a place to tuck in to hide.
- What are your hobbies?
Listening to Glinn tell stories and climbing up Elderin with the rest of the Leaves. Not a whole lot of free time to do much else.
- Have you ever been in love?
Childhood fancies don’t mean love, but it might’ve been. I dunno…hurry on to the next question.
- Do you prefer a quiet night at home or going out to a big party?
There are no quiet nights at home. You try living with a gaggle of ankle biters and get in a minute of quiet, let me know how that goes.
- How would you define success?
Retiring somehow. I know it’s a bad line of work, and Glinn worries too much. But I’ll keep doing what I’ve got to keep my family happy and safe.
